Angel
What a huge file. Took forever to upload. Back when I was using high resolutions for pictures, before I realized they were big and hard to deal with.
Thanks to Emily, I now have the Winnipeg CD back in possession and will post two more of the “long exposure of lights in a parking lot as seen from a moving van at night” series. All taken with one second exposures of various lights in downtown Winnipeg.
Pending on people’s suggestions, I’m also including the date and important info in all posts.
April 9th, 2007, 6:47:23 PM (My camera was still in “our” time, even though we were really in Manitoba time) 1 second exposure.

Cube?
Is it really a cube? Or is it a bunch of cylinders cut out to look like a cube? Either way, it’s shiny.
Inspiration from a gallery in Nelson B.C where they had one made of logs and branches cut in this way. I learned a lot about boolean operators in Blender with this project. A good long render time for the glossy reflections too. 2.46 (for the gloss)
I’ll have to make a new one to get rid of that ugly line in the background (where my “floor” ends and the shadows stop.) Too lazy though, and new projects came up.)
EDIT: As of a few days ago, this picture also adorns the top title banner. I’m hoping to choose new ones every so often.
