Blue Sky

I know the title breaks my rules of one word titles (with exception of the word “the” as seen in the post below) but I think I’ll have to eventually. “Wave” was a candidate for this piece, but sounded so boring.

With real DoF and everything!

Exactly 5 minute render (including DoF processing) at 5 sample AA. Interestingly enough, the render without any AA was exactly 1 minute and 8 seconds (DoF included, as well as all other effects)

I always knew AA was expensive (time is money) but it looks soooo good! Oversampling, cruel mistress.

The Machine

Well, it’s not really steampunk (or at least not as much as I would have hoped) but more reminds me of Myst or Submachine (actually, all of the submachine games) as it is very much “It’s just you locked in a room with a machine. Where does the telephone connect to?”

Certainly not my best work, but I think it turned out ok, considering the amount of time put into it. Will probably be revisited later.

One of my first “dark” pictures. Very grungy and such. I can’t quite get the style yet. Hence the revisit later.
