94/365 :: Observations Regarding Game Machines

April 12, 2010 § 1 Comment

You’ll notice that the initial couple of systems will bring you real friends, people who like to play together and eat pizza.

After that, it’s online friends. Those people who talk to you through your TV and you prefer because you don’t pay for their pizza.

Once your collection grows, people realize you’re fanatical and best avoided. This is where real friends plummet. To console yourself and convince your conscience that you indeed have a social life, you rely on the online friends increasingly. You’ll notice that although my chart bottoms out, the real friend vs fake “online” friends continue to be inversely proportional.

You’ll also notice that my classy numero signs conveniently look like “no friends”, which is true. No pizza for you.
