Architectural Detail Idea

I won’t claim to have changed the world here, but it’s something unique and different.

The bottom hole is a window, with the sheet of glass going all the way up to become the deck glass banister above. Obviously this would be more suited to places that don’t need to have adjustable, opening windows but also don’t need intense weather proofing.

I suppose, if you were inclined you could add an adjustable little gap in between the glass and the wall to allow for airflow. You’d really have to have some kind of gap either way, since the exteriors are usually textured to make perfect snug fits unsuitable.

Anyway, just an idea that I doodled quickly.
